Praying for Families
I have been thinking an awful lot about families lately. All sorts of families are out there needing prayer. In my mind, as I sit here, I can think of several in my own little ‘circle of life’ that I decided to do a short post to remind everyone to pray for families.
I would love to have people add comments to remind us of other instances they can think of where families need prayer. Here is the key, don’t give details about a specific family, but think of a way to remind each of us to pray for a need that a family has. Here are the examples I can think of as I sit here tonight.
-families who are facing losing a loved one
-families who are going through a divorce
-families who have already divorced
-families with small babies who are adjusting to changes
-families with teenagers (enough said there)
-families who are struggling with alcoholism
-families who are struggling with drug addiction
-families who are recovering from alcoholism and drug addiction
-families with sick kids
-families with sick husbands
-families with sick wives
-families with ‘steps’ and ‘halves’
-families in disagreements
-families that are new (newlyweds)
-and my final one… happy families (that they shall continue to live happily)
To any of my friends or family who are reading this and you feel yourself being “called out” almost by name, know that I am thinking of you and praying for you. To those of you reading this who may not be connected to me in any other way except through this blog and you hear your name being called as well, know that you too have prayers coming your way.
Again, I ask that you leave comments below with any families you can think of that I may have missed.
God Bless YOU and YOUR FAMILY!
